This is a great feature for our 1to1 students. Students can not only build their vocabulary, but enrich their writing with this resource. Each 1to1 Macbook laptop has an onboard extensive Dictionary and Thesaurus that anyone can access with a click.
Is there any way to get back the dictionary that was built into the older operating systems? The one where all the thesaurus words and such were linked?
Unfortunately, I use Apple devices from our school system which are supplied from the state. These devices use an older OS, so I can't compare to the newer OSs.
We have the Thesaurus, Apple, and Wikipedia tabs available on the Dictionary window menubar; as well as available in the Search menu in the top menubar.
